Welcome to my therapy practice. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Creative Arts Therapist providing verbal and art psychotherapy in New York City.  I work with adults and adolescents presenting with a range of symptoms including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, addictions, and trauma. The fact that you have arrived here likely means you are motivated to get the help you need and make the necessary changes to experience a present and full life. I would be honored to help you through that process.

Whatever you are going though- you are not alone! The fact is, one in five people will experience a mental health crisis in their lifetime and all will confront multiple life challenges. To be human is to struggle. Society has made progress- it is increasingly behind us to view attending therapy as "weak.”  Building up your support system and seeing the world through other perspectives can be relieving and comforting. Beginning the journey towards self-actualization is courageous work. Congratulations on taking this step!

About Me

I am a dually licensed Mental Health Counselor and Creative Arts Therapist in New York City. I have been working in private practice since 2010 and enjoy the depth and richness that doing individual psychotherapy work offers. I especially love working with young professionals, creatives, students, and new parents.  My specialties include trauma, relationship conflicts, anxiety and depression. I have have many years of experience working in both hospital and clinical practice and have advanced, postgraduate training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, trauma and EMDR treatment.

Prior to establishing my private practice full-time, I worked on various psychiatric units across NYC specializing in acute mental illness and addiction. As a longtime treatment team provider within Mount Sinai Health System's Department of Psychiatry (2007-2021), I used my skills to provide group and individual psychotherapy for those struggling with symptoms related to various mood disorders, psychosis, and personality disorders.
